Formed in 1971, PPGBA serves portrait, advertising, wedding, commercial, and freelance photographers in the Bay Area and Northern California. We assist photographers at all levels of their career, from aspiring to established.
The 501 (c)(6) non-profit association is committed to promoting the quality and growth of the profession, keeping members informed about our industry, and helping fellow photographers by sharing their collective experience.
Mission Statement
The Professional Photographers of the Greater Bay Area, Inc. exists to support and encourage the professional, artistic and educational growth of its members; to promote public awareness of the profession; and to provide a forum of fellowship and exchange of ideas in an open and friendly atmosphere.
PPGBA is an affiliate of the Professional Photographers of America.
